Nigel Burgoyne (Headteacher Kesgrave High School) and (Part time Acting CEO for EAST)
Nigel Burgoyne has been the Headteacher at Kesgrave High School in Suffolk for 20 years. Kesgrave has a school population of almost 2000 students, including a thriving sixth form. The school is very proud of its inclusive structure and its broad and balanced curriculum. It is designated both as a National Teaching School and National Research School Partner. Nigel leads a highly committed and skilled staff in providing a safe, secure and nurturing school environment where all students can reach their full potential.
Nigel was pleased to take on the role of Part Time, Acting CEO for the East Anglian Schools’ Trust (EAST) when it formed on 1 September 2019 and fulfils this role alongside his role as Headteacher.
CFO: Lynn Eldrett
Lynn is Interim CFO of EAST having been appointed in April 19 to work on the operational set up of the Trust, compliance with financial regulations and financial and business planning across the three member schools. Lynn has been Business Manager of Bungay High School since 2006, and became Finance Director in 2011 when the school became a stand alone Academy. Previously she worked as Finance Manager at Thomas Mills High School, having come from a background in Risk Management.
Angelo Goduti - Headteacher Bungay High School
Angelo Goduti has been Headteacher at Bungay High School since 2014. Bungay High is a high achieving, comprehensive school and sixth form of 860 students in the north of Suffolk. Students achieve well and consistently above the national average. Prior to being appointed at Bungay High School, Angelo was the Deputy Headteacher at Farlingaye High School, another EAST school. Over the last twenty years, Angelo has worked in schools in Suffolk, Northamptonshire, Thurrock and Bedfordshire. His roles have also included Assistant Headteacher 14-19, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Humanities, Head of History and Head of Year.
Dr Andrew Sievewright - Headteacher Farlingaye High School
Andy Sievewright joined Farlingaye High School as Headteacher in September 2016 after 25 years of teaching in London schools in a variety of leadership roles; including 5 years as Headteacher. Andy moved to Suffolk with his family to take up the post.
Farlingaye High School has a school population of 1920 with 415 of those in the Sixth form. The school is rated as Outstanding by OFSTED. Andy is proud to lead a committed and highly-skilled staff body, and our status as a Teaching School and a Leading Edge School, helps us to be on the cutting edge of staff training and development.
